How do you connect an external usb TV tuner card to the Wii?
I have been searching through google for awhile and I haven’t been able to find a full and precise answer. I saw all these other alternatives, but I was recommended to get a Hauppauge USB 2.0 HDTV Tuner from the Geek Squad in Best Buy. The model number is HVR-950Q. I wanted to do more research on it before I actually buy it.
The reason I’m getting a tuner card is because my Insignia 26″ LCD TV/DVD Combo doesn’t have a record function. I can use it as a PC monitor and record PC games on it (via FRAPS), but I can’t record any gameplay from my Wii. For anyone who can help me out, you have my gratitude in advance.

-64-bit operating system
You can’t connect it to the Wii! The Wii only has TV Tuner support in Japan. If you want to record gameplay, dump the games with the homebrew program SuperDump (~30 mins for full Wii game) and play them with dolphin emulator. Supports Snapshots (pics) and TAS (and therefore recording)
