Why does my Sony Vaio TV tuner only pick up local channels?
I get hundreds of channels through Comcast but when I hook up my Vaio’s TV tuner I can only see about 10. All of which are local. I’ve tried hooking it up through the cable box and that won’t return any results at all. I really want history and discovery channel and things that are not local, but I still get through my normal cable. Thanks in advance.
Because your TV tuner is an ATSC tuner and that picks up only over the air broadcast stations, not cable.
